Multimedia Performance Art Installation

“Round and Round” raises the question of importance. What are the selection criteria, the conditions for casting and who is on the jury? The shape was born after the visit of the Dovzhenko Center space, from a household conversation with the managers about the children’s zone. The children’s playpen was transformed into a circus arena, the common features of which were: entertainment, isolation, limitation (freedom in specific conditions). However, concentration from the centre of the arena is translated into its “frame”, leaving the middle empty. The artist stands with his back to the audience between several sectors, decentralising the “scene”, as well as the very structure of the show, (media circus), its continuity, solidarity, regret and so on. Visuals that used to make a background for the performer now on the wrong side, in the frame. Songs alternate according to the standard scheme, major and minor.  —Bogdan Moroz
